Children from London Test out the New Ride in Dalek Toys
Some lucky kids from London have been testing out the brand new Ride in Dalek toys from Doctor Who. A group of 3-6 year children have been whizzing around London in the new Doctor Who toys from kids at play and the BBC, available in blue, red and now white the motorised Dalek toys are fast becoming the most popular toy this coming Christmas. Exterminate, Exterminate, Exterminate
That’s right, everyones favourite Dr Who villains The Daleks are now available as life size toys with the worlds first Ride in Dalek toys for kids. The Dr Who toy is a battery powered Ride in Dalek with arubberised inflatable body and high density plastic base providing a safe and strong evironment as well as an incredibly fun and exciting experience for children.
The Dr Who Ride in Dalek toy is 128 cm tall and is recommended for children from ages 3-6. With a 6v rechargable battery the ride in Dalek has full 360 degrees of movement at a max speed of 3km per hour and 10 different Dalek phrases and sounds that are activated from the steering wheel, that include iconic phrases such as “Exterminate, Exterminate, Exterminate” and “obey the Daleks” and comes with accurate flashing lights for that authentic Dalek look and feel.
Daleks first appeared on BBC television in 1963 and have since been the most iconic and loved villains from the show, although many toys have been based on the alien invaders there has yet to be a life-sized toy suitable for children to play in. The BBC Worldwide stated that they had always dreamed of bringing a Ride in Dalek toy for children to the market and now with the help of toy company kids@playthey have been able to achieve just that.

Ride In Dalek Specifications
The soft yet durable Ride-in Dalek body is made from a mixture of nylon and polyvinyl rubber, giving the Doctor who toy a cushioned yet protective feel. The hybrid material gives the Dalek an extremely durable structure that provides a safe tear resistant play area for kids.
The motorised base comes complete with a 6 volt rechargeable battery that will last for a minimum of 300 charges and the base is surrounded by a soft bumper to prevent any damage while kids are whizzing around and having fun.
The recommended age range for the Doctor Who Ride-in Dalek toy are 3 – 6 years olds, but the maximum recommended weight is for a child up to 30kgs. The Dalek is east to assemble through simple inflation of the outer rubberised Dalek shell.
